ABOUT ME

Aja's Cakes was founded in 2012 when Aja Smith was inspired to create a cake for her dad's birthday, after watching Ace of Cakes. As a self-taught baker, she proceeded to watch countless youtube videos and experimented in the kitchen over the course of a month. When it was time to create her dad's cake, she knew she was ready. Aja spent four hours in the kitchen and created what she felt was a masterpiece, for it to be her first time. Aja knew she was on to something. She continued to practice over the next couple of months and eventually went to selling her creations. It was in that moment Aja's Cakes was born!
